Fresh tuna is a wonderful thing, far better than anything from a can, although that is good for a classic tuna mayo sandwich every now and then.
- 1 Tuna Steak
- 1 cup Bulgur Wheat
- 1 Chicken Oxo
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 Handful of Spinach
If you don’t have a griddle pan for this one, don’t worry it works just as well in a regular pan. The bar marks just make it look a little bit fancy.
Wash the bulgur wheat, crumble over the oxo and then bring to boil in two cups of water and the olive oil. Once boiling, drop the temperature to a simmer for around 9 minutes. While the bulgur wheat cooks, heat the griddle pan and pat the tuna steak dry. Season the fish and cook on either side for about 3 minutes.
Once the tuna is done leave to rest and zap the spinach in the microwave in a bowl for about 30 seconds so that it wilts. Plate up and dive in.
