Roast beef is a great Sunday Roast but there are always leftovers, so here is a different way to use those leftovers up.

  • Leftover Roast Beef
  • 1 Oxo Cube
  • 1 tsp Bisto Gravy Granules
  • 100g Self Raising Flour
  • 50g Atora Suet
  • Water

Cut the leftover beef into small chunks and then boil the kettle, with the boiling water mix together the Oxo and gravy granules. You want it to be relatively thick. Add the beef to the gravy mixture and leave to one side.

In a bowl mix together the flour and the suet with a little bit of warm water. You want to make a soft dough. Knead the dough and then roll the dough out, using a cookie cutter cut the dough into rounds. Place a teaspoon of the beef mixture into the centre of one of the cut out rounds. Fold it over and pinch the dough together. Repeat this process with the rest of the dough and mixture.  Finally, in a steamer, steam the dumplings for 20-30 minutes.
