I know that it’s not the prettiest looking dish up there^^, but trust me it does taste amazing. Sea Bream is always a nice easy fish to cook, if you’ve never had it before it is very similar in texture and flavour to Sea Bass. This is a nice simple meal that’s ready to go in about 15 minutes and the sauce is so very simple.
- 1 sea bream fillet
- 30g grated cheddar
- 25ml single cream
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ a courgette
Start of by pre-heating your oven to about 200c and then on a greased baking tray put the fish skin side down. Bake it in the oven for about 10 minutes, the fish should change colour from a translucent colour to an opaque white.
While the fish is in the oven put the cheese, cream and Dijon mustard in a small bowl and give it a mix until it forms a paste. Next, cut your courgette into thin strips so it resembles spaghetti or if you have a spiralizer like me stick it in there and get turning!
Once the fish is nearly ready put the paste on top and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. At the same time lightly fry the courgette in a wok until it’s slightly softened finally, all you need to do is plate up and enjoy.
