- 12 Closed Cup Mushrooms
- 50g Corn Flakes
- Flour
- 2 Eggs
- Oil for frying
- 1 clove Garlic (Crushed)
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
Blitz (in a food processor) the cornflakes to breadcrumb texture, beat the egg, dust the mushrooms in flour, dip in the egg and coat in the blitzed cornflakes. Deep fry for 3 minutes. Mix the mayo and the garlic while the mushrooms fry.
Mmmm. Mushrooms are my friend. 🍄🍃
What a great idea to use plain cornflakes as breading. I’m going to have to give that a try.
