Portly Cooks | Garlic and Paprika Butter Prawns

Fresh bread dipped into paprika garlic butter? What more could you want… maybe some prawns to make it extra tasty?

Serves 4

  • 20 Prawns (Peeled, Deveined with tails on)
  • 100g Butter
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • The Soda Bread Recipe is Jack Munroe’s and is here

Make the bread according to the instructions and leave to one side, it will stay warm while you do the prawns.  For the prawns in a little oil fry until just pink, remove from the pan and set aside.

Melt the butter into the pan add the paprika and crush in the garlic, keep on a medium heat and give it a good stir.  Finally return the prawns to the pan and make sure they’re fully coated. Transfer to a bowl and dive in!
