Have you got a couple of sausages in the fridge and some flour in the cupboard? Well you can make some cheat’s pork pies instead of that sausage sandwich you’ve been thinking about.
- 170g Plain Flour
- 85g Butter
- Splash of water
- 2 Sausages
- Milk to glaze
Rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs. Add a little water and form into a dough. Roll out the pastry between 2 sheets of cling film (its easier and less messy). Cut 4 discs out of the pastry and place in a muffin pan. Skin the sausages and put half of each into the pastry cases. Cut out lids for the pies and put on your pies. Brush with milk and bake at 180c for 30-35 minutes.
