If you’re not a fan of pork you can sub it out for skinless chicken thighs and get the same result. This one ticks the boxes of salty and spicy cravings and is dead easy to make too!
- 1 Pork Loin Steak/ 2 Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Chilli Bean Sauce
- If you can’t get hold of this, mix 1 tsp of Oyster Sauce with 1 tsp of Sriracha
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Pak Choi
Cut the pork into thin strips and then heat a drizzle of vegetable oil in a heavy bottomed pan or wok. Mix the chilli bean sauce, garlic and soy sauce in a bowl and leave to one side. Cut the end off the pak choi so that the leaves come away.
Stir fry the pork until just browned, add the sauce mixture and stir fry for another 30 seconds before adding the pak choi, cook for about another minute until the pak choi starts to wilt. Take the pan off the heat, toss the sesame oil through and then serve.
