Nuggets of any kind are always pretty satisfying, these ones use cod cheeks and give you a bite sized fish finger to dunk in your favourite sauce. If you can find cod cheeks, chunks of cod, haddock or even plaice will work just as well.
- 12 Cod Cheeks
- Flour for dusting
- 1 egg (beaten)
There’s not much to this one to be honest… Pat the fish dry and dust in the flour. Dunk each one in the egg and then coat in the breadcrumbs. Place them on a baking tray and cook in the oven for about 10-15 minutes at 180c. Once done take them out and dunk them in your sauce of choice, I went for Sweet Baby Rays BBQ.
