Everyone loves a pizza and this is nice and easy and uses the Bread recipe that was posted before this recipe. This time I halved it and makes two roughly side plate sized pizzas.
- 125g Plain/Strong Bread Flour
- 88ml Warm Water
- 1/3 tsp Dried Yeast
- Drizzle Olive Oil
For the topping
- ½ tin Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Tomato Puree
- 1 clove Garlic (crushed)
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 50g Grated Mozzarella
Put all the dough ingredients in a bowl and form into a dough, knead and then in a greased bowl, leave to prove for an hour. After an hour, knock back, knead and prove again for another hour.
While the dough proves, in a sauce pan add all the topping ingredients except the cheese (obviously) and simmer for around 5 minutes, once done, leave to one side and let it go cold.
Once proved, halve the dough and roll out into a pizza shape, spoon on some of the tomato sauce and top with cheese. Bake the pizza on a pizza stone or baking tray for about 15 minutes at 220c.
