Harissa Spiced Pork Flatbreads

Need a tasty bite to eat fast for a bunch of people?  Get some belly pork slices from the butchers and a jar of harissa paste, you’ll have a quick dins in no time.

  • 4 Belly Pork Slices (cut in half to make 8)
  • 4 Flatbreads (whatever you fancy)
  • 4 tsp Houmous
  • 4 handfuls Rocket
  • 1/2 Jar Harissa Paste
  • Oil

Simple really, put the harissa in a jar and let it down with a little of the oil, this will make it easier to coat the pork with. Put the cut pork into a freezer bag and add the harissa, give it a good dahek to make sure that the pork is well coated.

Transfer the pork to a grill pan (the one that goes under the grill) and roast in the oven at 200c for about 15 minutes or until crispy.  Once done, smear the houmous on all the flat breads, add the rocket and top with the pork slices. Done.
