Portly Cooks | Kaprao


I was given this lovely little recipe by one of my students and it’s awesome!

  • 2 Slices of Belly Pork
  • 2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Thai Seven Spice
  • ½ Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Fish Sauce

Cut the pork belly into thin strips or chunks and leave to one side. in a bowl, mix together the other ingredients and leave that mixture to one side. Heat some oil in a wok and stir fry the pork until golden and crispy.  Add the oyster sauce mixture and cook for another couple of minutes, making sure that the pork is nicely coated. One done, serve with some steamed rice or some noodles.
