Do you ever have left over minced beef and want to do something more than the traditional, Bolognese, burgers or meatballs? Well this one is just the thing!
- 200g Beef Mince
- 15ml Sake
- 15ml Soy Sauce
- 15ml Mirin
- 2x Spring Onions
- 1/3 cup Rice
- Drizzle of oi
- 1 egg
- Seaweed (Optional)
Start off by cooking the rice with 2/3 cups of water, bring to boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes. While the rice cooks, fry the beef in a wok until it begins to crisp, add the liquid ingredients and reduce until they are almost gone.
When the beef is almost done, poach an egg in the microwave using a bowl of boiling water on full power for a minute. Serve the egg on top of the rice and surround with the beef, sprinkle the seaweed shavings to finish with some diced spring onion.
