Portly Cooks | Lamb Kofta


Sometimes you want to jazz up your evening meals and make something slightly more interesting. Koftas for me are definitely up there with something that will excite not only your eyes but taste buds too. They aren’t particularly that difficult either and everyone loves something on a stick right?

  • 500g Lamb Mince
  • 2 tsp Harissa Powder
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 5 skewer sticks

This is fairly simple to be honest. Crumble the minced lamb into a bowl and add the harissa, salt and pepper. With a fork and then your hands make sure that the spices are fully mixed into the mince. Once mixed, mould the lamb onto the skewers. To cook, bake in the oven at 200c till golden brown on all sides.
