The weather a few days ago got ever so slightly chillier. I love autumn and winter food, it’s the kind of food that gives you a hug, and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy as you hunker down away from the cold weather outside. This one doesn’t even need any pre-cooking in a pan before!
- 4 Sausages
- 1 thumb sized piece of Chorizo
- 1 tin Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 tin Cannellini Beans
- ½ Red Onion
- Couscous to serve
This is simple and you can leave it and forget about it. Drain the beans and add to your slow cooker with the chopped tomatoes. Cut the chorizo into small chunks and thinly slice the onion. Add these to the slow cooker and stir well. Finally add the sauages and turn the slow cooker to high. I cooked mine for 20 hours, but anywhere between 6-8 hours is perfectly fine too! Serve with some couscous and enjoy!
