Steak Nachos

Sometimes all you want is to indulge, and with this rather decent weather we have been having recently it’s all about getting stuck in, sharing food and eating with your fingers.

  • 150g Rump Steak
  • 80g Tortilla Chips
  • 60g Grated Cheddar
  • 1 tbsp Soured Cream
  • 1 tbsp Salsa
  • ¼ jar Jalapeno Peppers

Heat the oven and layer the tortilla chips with alternate layers of chips then cheese.  For the steak cook on a high heat until seared all over and still pink on the inside.

While the steak rests put the cheese and tortilla chips into the oven to melt the cheese.  Once the cheese has melted top with the salsa, soured cream and jalapenos.

Finally thinly slice the steak and lay on top of the cheesy goodness that are your Nachos.  Get stuck in with your hands!
