Smoked Garlic and Prawn Linguine

I got myself a bulb of smoked garlic and went garlic heavy for this one.

  • 8 King Prawns (7 Peeled)
  • 75g Linguine
  • 25g Butter
  • 3 Cloves Smoked Garlic
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 4 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1 Red Chilli

Finely chop the spring onion and chilli and leave to one side. In some boiling salted water cook the pasta until just done. Drain, and reserve some of the cooking liquid. For the prawns cut the 7 peeled prawns in half then in a hot pan fry in a little oil until they have turned pink, cook the shell on one alongside them and once done leave to one side for later.

Add the spring onions and chilli and cook for about a minute, then add the butter and cherry tomatoes (cut in half) toss together and add the linguine.  With 2 tablespoons of the cooking water, cook for a minute stirring continuously. Finally stick it on a plate and top with the shell on prawn.
