A cheeky Nando’s now and then never hurt anyone but I decided I’d have a go at making it at home. I’m not breaking any boundaries here but its dead satisfying.
- ½ Chicken
- 1 Corn on the Cob (Cut in half)
- 1 Large Potato
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder.
- Salt and Pepper
This recipe genuinely isn’t rocket science. Take a whole chicken and cut it in half. Cut down either side of the back bone with some kitchen scissors. Then, cut down the centre of the breast side of the chicken and boom, a chicken in half.
In a bowl mix together the cayenne and paprika etc and then season on half of the chicken liberally. Roast in a 180c oven for about 40 minutes.
While the chicken cooks peel the potato and bring a deep fryer up to 190c. Pat the potato dry and fry until golden brown.
Boil the corn in a saucepan of boiling water or if you fancy, zap it in the microwave in a bowl of hot water for about 3 minutes.
Once everything is cooked, stick it on a board and put it into your face!
