Good things come to those who wait apparently… this one is worth the wait and best done over a weekend but who cares what day it is you get some epic slow cooked ribs!
- 1 rack Pork Ribs
- Portly’s BBQ Spice Rub
- Tin Foil
- 1 tbsp BBQ Sauce
There aren’t many ingredients in this recipe, but one is more important than any other… time (Oooo deep). Seriously though, it will be more than worth the wait.
Mix the spices for the BBQ spice mix together. Then put the ribs in a freezer bag along with the spice mix and give it a good shake.
Leave the ribs to marinate for about an hour. Once they’ve done that, make some golf ball sized balls of tin foil, you’ll need four. Place these in the bottom of your slow cooker. Put the ribs on the top and turn the switch to high.
Put the lid on and leave for a day… yes a day, 24 hours. After a day has passed, heat the oven to 120c. Take the ribs out and put them on a baking sheet. Brush the BBQ sauce on top and bake in the oven for about 5-10 minutes. Take them out… devour.
