Try something different with a take-out staple.
- 1 small fillet Haddock
- 1 tbsp Flour
- Water
- 1 small Swede
- Oil for frying and roasting
Start off by peeling the swede and then cutting it into chips. Heat your oven to 200c, as it heats put some oil in a roasting pan and get it hot. While the oil and oven heat up, pat the swede dry and add to the oil.
Roast for about 20 minutes turning half way through. While the chips cook, mix the flour with some water to make a light batter. Pat the haddock dry and season. Heat a little oil in a heavy bottomed pan then dunk the fish in the batter. Fry the fish on either side until the batter is nicely crisp and golden brown.
