Fillet with Bell Peppers

Keeping it simple is sometimes the best thing to do. You want to make the few ingredients you do use shine out as stars of the show. This one does just that.

  • 1 Fillet Steak
  • 50g Red, Yellow and Green Bell Peppers
  • ½ Red Onion
  • 20g Butter

First off pat the steak dry on some kitchen towel and season liberally.  Heat a pan of wok until it is smoking hot. With a little oil fry the steak on either side for about 3 minutes. Add the butter and baste the steak and then leave to rest somewhere warm.

While the steak cooks slice the peppers and onion thinly and then once the steak is done. Stir fry them in the same pan for about 2 minutes, you want them to still be crunchy. Once the steak is rested and the vegetables cooked, plate up and dive in!
