Chicken burger, I don’t normally order them when I’m out and about but at home I do like to make them as you can be a generous as you like with toppings and extras, and nobody cares if you get all messy!
- 1 Chicken Breast
- 1 rasher bacon
- 1 Gherkin
- 1 Burger Bun
- 2 Slices Cheese
Heat the oven to 180c. Season the chicken liberally on either side and then in a hot pan cook for about 2 minutes on either side before finishing in the oven. While the chicken finishes, cut the bacon in half lengthways and fry until crispy.
Cut the gherkin into thin slices and then bring the chicken out of the oven. Place the bacon and gherkin on the chicken and top with the cheese. Return it all to the oven to melt the cheese. Cut the bun in half and once the cheese is melted put the chicken in the bun and enjoy!
