Portly Cooks | Sausage and Egg McMuffin without the Muffin

Sausage and Egg McMuffin...

Breakfast, something we should eat (apparently) although I do quite well without it. Seeing as we all have some time off in theses few weird days between eating too much and drinking too much here’s my go at a proper version of a ‘Sausage and Egg McMufin’  without the muffin…

  • Soft White Roll
  • 1 Rasher Bacon
  • 1 Sausage
  • 1 Egg
  • Handful Rocket
  • 1 Slice Cheese

Start off by taking the sausage from its skin and then in a bowl add some garlic powder and a bit of salt and pepper.  Form the sausage meat into a patty shape and fry. When you turn it over add the bacon and cook that on both sides.

Move it all to one side and fry the egg in the same pan (sunny side up) once it’s all done, cut the muffin in half, put the rocket and the cheese on the bottom slice and stack with the sausage patty, bacon and egg. Top with the top of the roll and breakfast is served.
