Portly Cooks | Burgers


Well then let’s keep this one simple shall we. I hope you had a fab Christmas and got everything that you wanted. This one isn’t too much faff, I know like me you aren’t really sure what day it is, what time it is and I’m sure you don’t really care. I do know that Burgers are always a good option when you can’t be bothered to think and if you fed up of leftover Christmas food in various disguises this one’s for you.

  • 250g Beef Mince
  • ½ Red Onion
  • 1 Brioche Bun
  • 1 Slice Cheese

It’s really dead easy, chop the onion finely and add to the mince, give it all a good mix with your hands. Season well give it another little mix and form into a patty.  Heat a griddle pan and fry on either side for about 2 minutes. Longer if you prefer.  Stick the resultant burger in the bun, top with the cheese and enjoy!
