Who doesn’t love a burger? I had a massive craving for them the other day so after stopping off and grabbing some beef mince and some cheese it was home to make some dinner!
- 200g Beef Mince
- 1 Cheese topped bun
- 50g Stilton Cheese
- 2 Rashers Streaky Bacon
- Handful of Rocket
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Seasoning
Put the mince into a bowl with the garlic powder and season liberally, give it all a good mix around and form into a patty. If you dont have a burger press thingy, I find the lid of a peanut butter jar covered with cling film will help you form the perfect patty.
Heat a pan until it’s screamingly hot, cut the bun in half and lightly toast it in the pan, once that’s done, cook the bacon until crispy and leave to one side.
In the same pan cook the burger until nicely crispy on both sides. Once cooked top with the bacon and cheese and put under the grill to melt the cheese.
Finally put the rocket in the bun, put the burger with its melted cheese and bacon on the rocket ans top with the lid of the bun.
