There is something rather comforting about a fish pie. Fresh fish, mashed potatoes and a creamy sauce, it ticks all the comfort food boxes. This one is also a cheats version.
<Serves 5>
- 1.2kg Fish Pie Mix (I used Whiting, Salmon and Smoked Haddock)
- 3 Large Potatoes
- 1 pk Potts Sauce for Fish Pie
Heat your oven to 200c and put the fish into a large pie dish. Next pour over the Potts Sauce for Fish Pie and give it a quick stir. Chuck the fish and sauce mix into the oven for about 20mins. While the fish is cooking, peel and boil your potatoes and once cooked, mash them and season well.
Take the fish from the oven and cover the mixture in the mashed potato. You can either return the pie to the oven or like me, put it under the grill to get some crispy bits on the top.
