What do you do with that leftover end of Focaccia? Well that is what went through my head the other morning, so at 8am I decided that I would be having ‘Pizza’ for breakfast. This will work well with Ciabatta and even Pita Bread too.
- Left over Focaccia
- Pasata
- Garlic Powder
- Ketchup
- Salt and Pepper
- 4 Slices of Edam
- Olive Oil
Cut the Focaccia in half, drizzle with a little Olive Oil and pre-heat the oven to 200c. In a small pan, mix together about 50ml of pasata with a good squirt of ketchup, add a pinch of the garlic powder and salt and pepper.
Cook it down for a little while and then spoon on top of the bread. Finally put the cheese on top of the tomato covered bread. Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes.
