Teriyaki Beef is a classic comfort food for me, every time i make it the recipe develops and changes. Sometimes because I’m feeling creative and sometimes because I haven’t got what I normally put into it. This version is no different, however, it worked amazingly well.
- 75ml White Wine Vinegar
- 75ml Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Large piece of Beef Skirt around 10oz
In the dish you will marinade the beef in mix together all of the ingredients for the marinade. Once done, marinade the beef for at least 4 hours, overnight and all day works a lot better. When you’re about ready to cook, heat a griddle pan until it is smoking hot.
Cook the beef either side for around 2 minutes on each and leave to rest in a warm place. In another pan reduce the leftover marinade until it has a syrupy consistency. Finally, cut the beef into strips making it perfect to share. You can either use the sauce as a dip or drizzle over the beef.
Try the marinade with chicken, salmon and pork too it’s wonderful!
