If you’ve been here a while you must have guessed by now that I’m a massive fan of Buffalo Sauce. My sauce of choice… Frank’s Red Hot, the reason being it was the first I ever had and therefore is the best. Buffalo Chicken wings are up there as the best comfort food on the planet, crispy chicken, buttery, spicy sauce its all just fantastic!
- 10 Whole wings
- 50ml Frank’s Red Hot Wing Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Drizzle of oil
Start off by prepping the wings, cut them in half and chop off that little (forgive the pun) flappy bit on the end. once you’ve done that you should have 20 wing pieces.
Put the wings in a large freezer bag, add the oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Give them a good shake and then leave to one side for at least 30 minutes.
Pre-heat the oven to its highest setting and once the wings have sat for a while, spread them out evenly on a baking tray. Roast the wings on high for 15 minutes, turning half way through. The wings should be super crispy when done.
Finally, take the cooked wings and put them in a bowl, pour over the Buffalo sauce and give them a good shake making sure they’re nicely coated. All thats left is for you to get messy and enjoy.
