Portly Cooks | Swordfish Noodles

Swordfish Noodles

Swordfish is one of those meaty fish that most people will have on skewers or as a steak on holiday, in a beautiful bay somewhere next to the Mediterranean. I decided I would try something I had never tried before. It looks a little bit like pork when it’s a whole loin, so I thought why not treat it like that and cut it into thin strips for a noodle stir fry.

  • 1 steak swordfish
  • 20ml Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1 nest of egg noodles
  • Oil for frying

To start off cut the swordfish into thin strips ready to be stir fried. In a small pan re-hyrdrate your noodles and then leave them to the side. Next, heat the oil in a wok, make sure that the pan is extremely hot!  Add the swordfish to the pan and stir fry for about 4 minutes (I wanted my strips to be crispy). Finally, add the noodles and the soy sauce and cook for about another minute or so, then transfer to a bowl and enjoy!
