I love a good marinade, it gives a whole new dimension to a dish as the flavours have more time to make whatever you’re marinating that little bit more special. Tuna is a tricky one, to be fair trying to work out whether to cook it or not is hard enough so finding a marinade that isn’t teriyaki takes me a while but I found this one works really rather well!
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- Juice of half a lemon
- Pinch salt
It doesn’t get much simpler really, take all of your ingredients and put them in a bowl. Stir them all together and then pour the marinade over what you want to marinade, in my case tuna! That is it really. It works really well under the grill, on the BBQ or even in the oven, just turn it up high and give it about 10 minutes.
